22+ Years of Fast & Secure Transportation
Mighty Expedite was formed at the turn of the new millennium in 2000. The focus then and now was to bring personalized service to the expedited requirements of Canadian and US shippers with regular and time-sensitive LTL, truckload and over dimensional shipments to and from the continental United States and right across Canada. Multiple levels of service and varied equipment types are available to Mighty customers on both sides of the border.

Tim Wilson - President
Tim lived in South America as a self-reliant child. From the age of 13, he started earning money washing dishes. At 18, he decided that he will not do the “good student route”, and quit school after graduating high school. He immediately started little companies, then worked in the restaurant industry for 17 years. The restaurant years turned out well for Tim. But, eventually, he found himself wanting more.
He soon landed a job as a sales rep for a trucking company, and absolutely loved it. Advanced quickly, but lost a lot of business to freight brokers. So, he decided to take a new job with a freight broker. Spent 3 months there, took the knowledge he learned and started up his own freight brokerage.
Then Mighty Expedite was born. Tim yanked his father out of retirement to help get the company off the ground. The initial HQ was a ten-by-ten spare bedroom in Wilson’s home. In no time, the company was looking for a new home. Tim’s father went back to enjoying his retirement after spending 15 years with the company.
Giving Back
Annually, Time & Sue Wilson and the Mighty Group of Companies extend their philanthropic reach to support 20 families and individuals within the community during the Christmas holidays.
This year, Tim and his wife, Suzanne, continue their involvement with the Orangeville Blitz Hockey Club. This season carrier an extra layer of excitement as the Blitz have made a significant move to a much larger market in Orangeville. Their new home, dubbed “The Ballroom,” resides at 275 Alder Street in Orangeville, boasting a seating capacity that exceeds 1000 for home games.
The Orangeville Blitz has also welcomed several new and exciting sponsors this year, along with entirely fresh coaching staff to lead the team to the WOSHL CUP. The Blitz’s season is set to kick off on Saturday, October 14th, as they visit the historic Petrolia Squires, a new expansion team in the WOSHL.
