Instead of continuing his education, Tim immediately dove into the world of entrepreneurship. By the time he turned 21, Tim had gained experience in managing businesses, but life took him in a different direction. He found himself drawn to the restaurant industry, where he worked for 17 years. It was a demanding, fast-paced world, but he thrived. He climbed the ranks and learned the ins and outs of operations, customer service, and managing people. The restaurant business was good to him, providing stability and growth, but after nearly two decades, Tim began to feel restless. He knew there was more he could achieve.

His next step was an entirely new field-transportation. Tim landed a job as a sales representative for a trucking company. It was a complete change of pace, but he immediately took to it. He loved the logistics and the challenge of closing deals. However, there was one problem: the rise of the freight brokers. Despite his hard work, Tim started losing a significant amount of business to brokers who could offer better rates and more flexible services. Frustrated but not discouraged, he saw this as an opportunity to shift gears once again.

After a while, Tim made a bold move to leave the company he was employed and start his own freight brokerage. Thats when Mighty Expedite was born.

Tim wasn’t alone in his venture, He convinced his father, who had been enjoying retirement, to come out of it temporarily to help him get the business off the ground. Their headquarters? A modest 10-by-10 spare bedroom in Tim’s house. It was far from luxurious, but it didn’t matter. With hard work, resourcefulness, and the lessons Tim had accumulated from his varied career, Mighty Expedite quickly began to grow. They moved out of the spare bedroom and into a proper office space as the business expanded.

After spending 15 years helping build the company, Tim’s father returned to his well deserved retirement, leaving behind a thriving business that had grown from nothing into something significant.
